India Big Mad at Canada Over Wild Toronto Rally 🇨🇦🇮🇳

Alright, fam, gather 'round. So, there was this pro-Khalistan rally in Toronto, and things got... spicy. We're talking "Kill India" signs, Prime Minister Modi looking like a whole meme, and people legit wanting to yeet Canadians of Indian descent back to where they came from. Yeah, it was a mess.

India was like, "Nah, we ain't here for this." They slid into the Canadian High Commission in New Delhi's DMs (metaphorically, obvi) and were like, "Yo, this ain't it. You gotta do something about these anti-India peeps." They were not playing, hitting them up in the "strongest terms".

To make things even more awkward, this all happened right after Canada got a new Prime Minister, Mark Carney. Things have been low-key icy between the two countries since September 2023, ever since Canada started pointing fingers at Indian agents over the whole Hardeep Singh Nijjar situation. India already bounced its High Commissioner from Ottawa back in October 2024 because they weren't vibing with all the pro-Khalistan activities in Canada.

But Prime Minister Modi still tried to keep it classy and sent a "congrats on the new job" message to Carney, saying he's down to build a stronger partnership. But still, the Toronto rally is not it.

Like India straight up protested to the Canadian High Commission about the anti-India parade. Apparently, the parade was throwing shade at Indian leaders and using some language that was straight-up threatening. The government in India is stressing that Canada needs to clamp down on anyone pushing extremism and trying to split the country.

The Indo-Canadian community is Big. Mad.. Especially 'cause there was vandalism at a Hindu temple recently. And to make it even more extra, some of the people at the parade were demanding that all the Hindus in Canada get deported. The Canadian Hindu Chamber of Commerce is like, "Nah, fam, we need to stand together and shut this down."

And it gets even MORE spicy. This parade had effigies (like, scary dummy things) of Prime Minister Modi, Amit Shah, and S Jaishankar. Some people were even out there saying Hindus should be deported from Canada. This all happened after some vandalism and pro-Khalistan graffiti at a Hindu temple, which is just adding fuel to the fire.
