Okay, so you know about the Humboldt Broncos bus crash back in '18, right? Total L situation. But this story ain't about the L, it's about the W. Ryan Straschnitzki, one of the players, was paralyzed. Major feels, for real.

But get this – Ryan's a baller. He didn't let that hold him back. Now he's straight-up crushin' it in wheelchair basketball in Calgary. Like, he even got invited to a Team Canada camp. His goal? The 2028 Paralympics. That's the dream, and he's chasing it, no cap.

And that's what "We Were Broncos" is all about. It's a six-part series that's gonna drop on AMI (Accessible Media Inc.) on May 26. It shows Ryan's journey, his struggles, his wins, all of it. Plus, he started a charity called "Straz Strong," so he's out here doin' good in the world.

Lucas Frison, the producer and director, is connected to the story too – he was friends with a coach who passed in the crash. They filmed this over eight months, so it's gonna be legit. Ryan hopes it gives everyone some insight into his life. Maybe if it does well enough, they might cook up a second season!
