Okay, so here's the tea. That Hockey Canada sexual assault case? It just got a whole lot messier. The judge straight-up declared a mistrial, which is basically like hitting the reset button after only four days. No one's saying exactly why, but it's def a major curveball.

ICYMI, this case is about five former members of Canada's world junior hockey team - Michael McLeod, Carter Hart, Alex Formenton, Dillon Dube, and Callan Foote. They're all facing charges related to an alleged incident at a hotel in Ontario back in June 2018, during a Hockey Canada gala. Word is, a woman met the players at a bar and then had consensual relations with one of them, but then things allegedly escalated.
