The Real Deal
Okay, so listen up, fam. This went down on July 16, 2025, near Centre Mall in Hamilton. Cops pulled over a motorcyclist in the East End, and the search was wild. They straight-up found a switchblade knife β like, who even carries those anymore? But that's not even the wildest part...
The dude was also carrying a whole pharmacy of stuff that'll mess you up, including 90 grams of fentanyl (deadly serious, y'all), 29 grams of cocaine, 27 grams of methamphetamine, and 9 oxycodone pills. Plus, they found $182.35 in cash, which is sus, to say the least.
The dude's name is James Tilley, 35, from Hamilton. He's been charged with a bunch of stuff, including possession of a prohibited weapon, possession contrary to a prohibition order (meaning he wasn't even supposed to HAVE the weapon), four counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking (fentanyl, cocaine, meth, and oxycodone), and possession of proceeds of crime under $5,000. Big yikes!
The cops are keeping him locked up; they don't want him getting bail. Hamilton PD is saying they're serious about cracking down on this kinda stuff, so if you see something, say something β you can hit them up or even drop an anonymous tip to Crime Stoppers. Stay safe out there, y'all!
