The Deets

Okay, fam, listen up. This is a certified bruh moment. A grizzly bear decided to crash a vibe check at Acwsalcta School (shoutout to the Nuxalk Nation) in Bella Coola, B.C. And when I say crash, I mean it went full-on beast mode on these kids and teachers.

Eleven people got injured, and it's not looking good for everyone. Two are in critical condition, and two are in serious condition. The other seven caught some scrapes but were lucky enough to get patched up at the scene. B.C. Emergency Health Services (BCEHS) showed up ASAP to help the injured and get em to the hospital.

Word on the street is that this happened near Hwy. 20 on a trail, and a parent said the students were straight-up booking it to get away. Apparently, one of the teachers took the brunt of the attack, which is kinda hero vibes, ngl.

The Acwsalcta School is closed for now, which is a major mood. And the worst part? The bear is still out there, roaming around like it owns the place. The Nuxalk Nation Chief and Council, along with the B.C. Conservation Officer Service (BCCOS) and RCMP, are telling everyone to stay inside and avoid the woods and rivers. Stay safe out there, fam. This is a no cap sitch.
