Okay, so listen up. There's this new documentary called "Great White North Invasion" that's gonna premiere on Discovery+ and Discovery Channel during Shark Week. It's all about Great White Sharks hanging out off the coast of Lunenburg, Nova Scotia. Like, who knew Canada was low-key shark central?

The crew was out there last October, gettin' footage and taggin' sharks with the help of Halifax legend Chris Harvey-Clark, some local fishin' families, and a squad of ocean experts like Greg Trowse and Sarah Burko. They tryna figure out why these sharks are flockin' to Nova Scotia. Word is, the water's gettin' warmer and there's mad snacks for them to munch on.

Now, before you start trippin', shark attacks are still pretty rare. But the documentary's tryna keep it 100: these sharks are out there, so you gotta stay aware and take precautions, just like you would with ticks or any other wildlife. Don't be swimmin' where there's a lot of fish activity. If you see a shark, stay calm and face it, maintaining eye contact. If you a scuba diver, chill out on the ocean floor.

The filmmakers are even throwin' a watch party at the Lunenburg Opera House, followed by an info sesh. It's all about gettin' the word out and keepin' everyone safe while also showin' how majestic these creatures are.
