First up, qathet School District's Class of 2025 had their moment at the Powell River Recreation Complex. Three students gave speeches, but Hope Alescio's speech to the parents? Straight-up emotional. She was talking about how parental love is a CHOICE, not just something you're born with. Like, parents are out here choosing to support and empower us, and that's the realest thing ever. 🥺

But wait, there's more! Check out this father-daughter power duo, Darren and Cassady Spencer! They both enrolled in the Forest Technology program at NAIT. Daren switched careers from a middle school teacher, and Cassady had worked in forestry before, so they teamed up. They were in different groups but still helped each other out with homework and projects. Apparently, they even went to field camp together! Cassady's still figuring out her future, while Darren wants to use his teaching experience to help with forestry training. Goals af, right?

And ofc, the celeb kids are out here graduating too!
