The Deets

Okay, fam, listen up. This is kinda heavy. Two kids, Lilly (6) and Jack (4), went ghost in Lansdowne Station, Nova Scotia, on May 2nd. Like, poof, gone. And the cops are on it, no cap.

The RCMP (that's the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, for you non-Canadians) are pulling out all the stops. They've interviewed over 30 people and got about 500 tips. But here's the sus part: they ain't found the kiddos yet. Major L.

Now, the stepdad, Daniel Martell, volunteered to take a polygraph (aka lie detector) test. He said the cops asked him straight up if he was involved in the disappearance. Straight up savage, right? They even searched his and his estranged wife's phones. Talk about invasive! πŸ“±

Some police expert was saying that the polygraph thing usually means the cops think someone's holding back or straight-up lying. 😬 But the cops ain't saying how many tests they did or what the results were. Super hush-hush.

They did a huge search at first, using planes and peeps on the ground, covering like 5.5 square kilometers. But they had to scale it back after like five days. They did a few more searches later on tho. More than 11 RCMP units are working on this, plus the National Centre for Missing Persons and a bunch of other police squads. It's a whole operation!

Martell is staying positive, tho. He said he hopes the kids are found safe. Let's keep our fingers crossed, fam. πŸ™
