Okay, so listen up. This dude, Paul Lytwynec, used to be a STAR baseball player, right? Then, outta nowhere, he gets hit with this brain tumor diagnosis. We're talking surgery, chemo – the absolute WORKS. He even said he was lowkey planning his funeral. That's kinda wild, tbh.

Fast forward to now, and he's living that "new normal" life. Regular check-ups and MRIs are his new besties, but he's back at work, and here's the kicker – HE'S PLAYING BASEBALL AGAIN! That's a major W in my book.

Apparently, brain tumors are more common than you think. Like, the Brain Tumour Registry says almost 30 new cases pop up EVERY. SINGLE. DAY in Canada. And it can happen to ANYONE, no cap. Age, athletic ability – none of that matters.

Shoutout to Dr. Joe Megyesi, though, this neurosurgeon is out here doing the MOST, performing brain tumor surgeries on the regular. He says surgery can seriously help some patients, which is good to know. He's also big on raising awareness and catching stuff early.

Speaking of awareness, the London Brain Tumour Walk just went off, and it was kinda bussin'. They smashed their fundraising goal, pulling in over $138,000! All that cash goes to research and helping people understand what's up with brain tumors. It's also a place where survivors can connect and show each other some love, which is always a vibe.

Lytwynec even has his own team called 'Every day we Lyt' and they have raised 26K, which is so frickin' dope.
