Alright, fam, listen up 'cause this is wild. This ex-lawyer, Marc Andre Eckard (aka Scheirer), is in deep after he was found guilty of sexually assaulting a prospective client back in November 2020. Apparently, the victim was just tryna get some legal advice when things went totally sideways.

Fast forward to May 30, 2025, the court hit him with a bill for $270,000 in damages. We're talking $200K for the emotional damage, $50K 'cause his actions were sus af (punitive damages), and another $20K for the victim to get some much-needed therapy. But here's where it gets even messier—Eckard is out here saying he's bankrupt and too sick to pay up. Like, seriously? He even claims he's got health issues and has declared bankruptcy before. Sketchy vibes all around.

According to Michael Mulligan, another lawyer, even if Eckard declares bankruptcy, he still gotta pay up. But, even tho he can't dip out on the debt, the victim still may not be able to collect if Eckard has no assets. Like, that's rough, buddy.

Apparently, Scheirer was convicted of sexually assaulting the client and had been disbarred *twice*. The victim, identified as K.H.C., wanted legal advice from Scheirer in 2018. They said she experienced psychological injuries after unwanted physical contact and a loss of enjoyment of life, lack of confidence, anxiety, and fear around men.
