Okay, so listen up. This Edmonton police officer, Const. Alexander Doduk, is currently sitting in court facing some serious charges. We're talking assault with a weapon and assault causing bodily harm. Apparently, back in November 2019, he allegedly went off on a construction worker named Justin LaFrance with a baton.

LaFrance was just tryna be a good Samaritan and report a broken window when things went sideways. He testified that he was shook when the officer allegedly turned on him with the baton. Surveillance vids are circulating and show Doduk tackling the suspect, and then allegedly hitting LaFrance with the baton. LaFrance says he ended up with bruising, a black eye, a chipped tooth, and a fractured rib – major L's all around. 🤕

But wait, there's more. The defense is trying to spin it, saying LaFrance might have been resisting and acting all aggro.
