Okay, so, Premier Doug Ford is not holding back. He went on a whole rant about how the bail system in Canada is sus. He's saying the judges are "weak-kneed" and the whole thing is just straight-up broken.

Why is he pressed? Apparently, there was this massive drug bust in Peel Region – like, $50 million worth of illegal substances, including 479 kilograms of coke. The Peel Regional Police made some arrests, but Ford's fuming 'cause most of the suspects got bailed out. He thinks it's wild that these people, who were allegedly involved in something that major, are just walking free.

Ford's so heated he's planning on hitting up Prime Minister Mark Carney and the federal government to get some bail reform going. He wants changes to the Criminal Code, stat. He's basically saying, "Fix this, or else!"

In other news, things got a little wild on the Gardiner Expressway. Cops were chasing some carjacking suspects who snatched a Rolls Royce and a BMW from the Shops at Don Mills. One of the suspects driving the BMW ended up eating pavement while trying to ditch the police.

Now, the Special Investigations Unit (SIU) is all up in it. Three investigators and one forensic investigator are on the case, trying to figure out what went down. The Gardiner was shut down for a hot minute, but it's back open now, so you can get back to your regularly scheduled traffic jams.
