Okay, so the Michigan DNR had this whole plan to, like, *unalive* Canada geese with gas chambers. Apparently, these geese are causing beef between humans and wildlife. The DNR was all about it, saying it was a "last resort" for peeps who tried everything else (like messing with their nests and eggs).

But, plot twist! Some Democratic lawmakers stepped in and were like, "Nah, fam, that's kinda messed up." Animal rights advocates were also throwing shade, saying gassing geese is low-key cruel. So, DNR had to backpedal. Now, they're telling landowners to stick to non-lethal methods, like scaring the geese, messing with their habitat, and eliminating their food sources. Basically, be a menace without actually hurting the birds.

Ottawa County Crash 💥

In other news, things got real in Ottawa County. A 17-year-old was driving a Subaru and totally ghosted a stop sign at Adams and 40th. Big mistake! They ended up smashing into a Jeep Liberty, which caused the Jeep to do a whole rollover. Two peeps in the Jeep (a 31-year-old woman from Grand Rapids and a 67-year-old from Oxford, Connecticut) got seriously banged up. A 37-year-old dude from Oxford, Connecticut was also in the Jeep, but somehow walked away without a scratch. The Subaru driver? Also fine, somehow.

Cops are still investigating, but they don't think anyone was on the boof or anything. The Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office, LIFE EMS ambulance, and the Jamestown Township Fire Department all showed up to the scene. Stay safe out there, y'all!
