Aight, listen up, fam. Things just got real at the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts. Some dude, repping Last Generation Canada, decided to pull a power move and splash pink paint on a Picasso painting called "L’hétaïre." Yeah, you heard that right. A Picasso. They went full-on art attack over climate change.

Apparently, this group is on a whole crusade, demanding the Canadian government step up and create an agency to protect against climate disasters. They ain't playing games, they out here making statements. Before this, they already hit up the Montreal casino and the BMO Museum with some paint jobs, too. Talk about a glow-up... or, well, a paint-over, I guess?

Montreal police were on the scene faster than you can say "Picasso," and they cuffed one dude for mischief. They also detained two other individuals who were later released. Turns out, the painting was behind protective glass, so it didn't get totally wrecked. The museum was shook but got their act together and reopened like an hour later. Quick recovery, ngl. The painting has been removed from view while they investigate.

The MMFA is def not vibing with the situation and has expressed dismay over the event. But Last Generation Canada is standing firm. They're saying this is just part of a three-week campaign to get the feds to listen up. Will it work? TBD. But one thing's for sure: this is a moment.
