Clearwater ER Going MIA Again! + Bomb Scare at St. Pete Airport 🚨

Clearwater ER: Third Time's NOT the Charm 🙄

Fam, Clearwater's Dr. Helmcken Memorial Hospital ER is straight-up ghosting everyone. It's shutting down from 5 PM Saturday to 8 AM Sunday (April 26th, 2025). That's FIFTEEN HOURS, bestie! This is the THIRD time this year, and the SECOND time this month. Like, what is going on?!

So, if you're suddenly feeling unwell and need emergency help, don't even bother showing up there. You gotta haul your booty all the way to Royal Inland Hospital in Kamloops. 🚗💨

For real emergencies, dial 9-1-1. If it's not that serious but you need some advice, hit up HealthLink BC at 8-1-1.

This ain't the first rodeo, BTW. The Clearwater ER already dipped out for 22 hours in early April and another 13 hours in late February. They're playing hide and seek with our healthcare system.

St. Pete-Clearwater Airport: Bomb Threat?! 💣

In other news, things got a lil' spicy at St. Pete-Clearwater International Airport. Apparently, someone wrote a whole bomb threat on the door of an airplane bathroom - targeting ALL Allegiant planes at the airport, no less! 📝✈️

Allegiant Air Flight 2006 had to yeet all 170 passengers off the plane faster than you can say "bomb scare." The whole airport was on pause while the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office brought in the bomb-sniffing doggos to make sure everything was safe. Good doggos!

The investigation is still ongoing, and no one's been cuffed yet. But, airport peeps were expecting to regain control of the airport pretty soon after the all clear. Flights were delayed, so if you were supposed to be catching a flight, make sure you check the deets!
