Okay, so these sisters from Chester, N.S., Antonia and Georgia Lewin-LaFrance, just flexed HARD at the World 2025 European Championships in Greece. They won GOLD in sailing (49erFX category), and it's their first major W! They're like, "We're happy but the grind never stops" cuz Olympics 2028 is the goal.

The Tea

Listen up, fam! Antonia and Georgia Lewin-LaFrance, hailing from Chester, N.S., just proved they're THAT duo. They showed UP and showed OUT at the World 2025 European Championships in Thessaloniki, Greece, snatching the gold medal in the 49erFX sailing category. Like, period!

They slayed, winning four out of 13 races and keeping it top 10 in ten races. And get this: they COOKED in the final event, finishing FIRST. No crumbs left, bestie!

This is their first BIG win, which is huge, but they've been doing the thing for a while. They snagged a bronze at the Sailing Grand Slam Series event in France, and already won their first-ever gold at a senior championship in Thessaloniki back in '21. Talk about a glow-up!

Antonia was like, "Yeah, we won, which is fire, but we still got mad work to do for the 2028 Olympic Games." The dedication is real, y'all. Sheโ€™s serving โœจambitionโœจ!

There were mad sailors at the eventโ€”236 to be exactโ€”across different boat categories (49er, 49erFX, and Nacra 17). Other Canadians were there too, doing their thing. Thomas and William Staples placed 42nd in 49er, and Galen Richardson and Madeline Gillis finished 20th in Nacra 17. Shoutout to all the Canadian athletes!

The Lewin-LaFrance sisters have been sailing together for six years and grew up sailing at the Chester Yacht Club. It's giving "manifesting your dreams since childhood!"

Germany took silver and Poland took bronze. Big ups to all the medalists!
