Okay, listen up, fam. Chatham-Kent Public Health just dropped a major truth bomb: Drug poisonings are spiking, and things are getting real sus. Apparently, the unregulated drug supply is playing games, and you never know what you're gonna get. That means the stuff you think you're taking might be a whole different beast, and that's a recipe for disaster.

The health unit is keeping tabs on a worrisome surge in overdose incidents, but they can't pinpoint the exact culprits right now. And while they can't confirm any recent RIPs from drug-related incidents, let's just say the vibe is heavy. Between April and June, there were seven suspected drug-related deaths in Chatham-Kent.

So, what's the move? If you see someone OD'ing, call 911 ASAP. If you think it's an opioid thing, hit 'em with the naloxone (Narcan), maybe even a couple of doses if needed. And for the love of all that is holy, don't leave them hanging. Stick around until the paramedics show up.
