Okay, so Charlottetown is straight-up flexing right now with the annual Scarecrow Festival. We're talking over 800 scarecrows taking over the whole downtown. Can you even imagine the aesthetic? This is its 5th year, and it all started in 2020 when things were kinda sus, just tryna spread some joy and keep the local shops thriving.
The scarecrows are a whole vibe, created by local artists and community peeps. CreativePEI put out the call, and everyone showed up and showed out. One artist, Julie Doneff, is even keeping the OGs from 2020 looking fresh. There's one with an oyster shell head! Like, how creative can you get?!
