So, listen up, fam. This is gonna sound like a scene straight out of a movie, but it actually happened IRL. A Canadian tourist hopped on an IndiGo flight headed to Bangalore and decided to pull the ultimate prank – or so he thought. This dude straight up screamed "bomb" mid-flight. I can't even imagine the collective heart attack that went through everyone on that plane.

Word is, the IndiGo crew didn't play around. They hit up Air Traffic Control (ATC) faster than you can say "cancelled flight." The plane got diverted to an isolation bay faster than I can get to In-N-Out Burger. The whole sitch was a major key of panic. Turns out it was a straight up fib.

And, okay, this is where it gets even wilder. Apparently, Thiruvananthapuram International Airport in Kerala also got a bomb threat via email around the same time. Bomb squads were all over the place, tryna make sure everything was chill.

But wait, there's more. According to the Bureau of Civil Aviation Security (BCAS), airlines in India have already dealt with 728 hoax bomb threats this year. 728?! Like, what are the odds? So far, 13 people have been cuffed for pulling this kind of BS. Apparently, IndiGo is top of the leaderboard for these fake threats, with 216 incidents alone. Wild, right?

Anyway, back to our Canadian friend. After the fuzz gave the flight the all-clear, it finally took off for Bangalore on Sunday morning, all thanks to one guy acting up. Don't be a Kevin and let's just be careful when we are flying.
