Okay, so listen up, fam. This dude, Rabih Alkhalil, a certified opp, thought he could just bounce from his trial and live his best life. But nah, the internet is undefeated, and so is Interpol. Turns out, after being on the run for three whole years after escaping from a British Columbia jail, he got caught lacking in Qatar.

This wasn't some solo mission, tho. Qatar's Ministry of Interior, Interpol squads in Doha and Ottawa, RCMP, and other Canadian law enforcement agencies linked up like the Avengers to make this happen. They issued a Red Notice, which is basically like a global warrant, and Qatar played their part.

Alkhalil was wanted for some serious stuff, including a 2012 shooting and first-degree murder after being convicted in absentia. He's also got a history, like a conviction for murder in Toronto back in 2017. Earlier this month, charges were announced against three people for helping this dude escape. Their names are Edward Ayoub, John Potvin, and Ryan Van Gool.

Right now, Alkhalil is being held in Qatar, waiting for his one-way ticket back to Canada. Justice is coming for him, no cap. Bet he's regretting that jailbreak right about now.
