A report by Daily Bread Food Bank and North York Harvest Food Bank says hunger ain't just a temporary problem anymore; it's becoming a long-term struggle. Most people visiting food banks are return customers, even if the rise in need is slowing. Something has to change! The food banks are trying to help as many as they can, but they need some help too.

People are calling for beefed-up support, like better benefits, easier access to Employment Insurance, and the Canada Disability Benefit. There's also concern about rent prices that are too high, and calls for more staff at the Landlord and Tenant Board.
