Western Canada is on 🔥, literally. Alberta's looking like a whole different planet with all these wildfires. Australia's sending in the reinforcements, other provinces and even Washington State are pitching in too. Evac orders are popping up like crazy, but stay safe y'all!

The Real Tea

Okay, so boom, Western Canada is dealing with some major 🚩🚩🚩. Wildfires are straight-up wildin' in Alberta, B.C., Saskatchewan, and Manitoba. We're talking serious heat, strong winds, and a whole lotta smoke. The air quality in Calgary's gonna be mid because of it, smh.

Alberta's been hit the hardest, with over 615,000 hectares already turned to ash. Like, that's a whole lot of land, fam. But, it ain't all doom and gloom. Australia's sending in their fire crews to help out, which is kinda iconic. BC, Yukon, Quebec, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Washington State, Oregon, and Idaho also said, "bet."

Evacuations are happening all over. Saddle Hills County had to yeet everyone out, but Lac la Biche County said, "nah, you good, come back." Squamish in B.C. is on alert too. If you're in any of these areas, keep your eyes peeled and your bags packed. Fr fr.

Saskatchewan got some rain, which is a W, but the wind's still doing the most. Manitoba's telling everyone to chill on the non-essential travel so evacuees can find a place to crash. And some dude in Fort Chipewyan thought it was a good idea to set off fireworks during a fire ban and ended up catching a charge.

Canada's at the highest level on the National Preparedness chart, so you know it's real. Stay safe out there, y'all. Don't be starting any fires on purpose, keep your campfires in check, and listen to what the fire crews say.

Also, if you're tryna slide to Alberta, maybe check your luggage for firestarters. 😉
