Okay, so here's the sitch. There was this Khalsa Day parade in the GTA, right? But instead of just good vibes, it was kinda a mess. Apparently, some of the floats were waving pro-Khalistan flags and straight-up clowning on Indian leaders. Like, whoa.

But it gets worse, fam. Some dude at the parade grabbed a megaphone and started spitting fire, telling all the Indo-Canadians to bounce back to India. Like, "Eight lakh Bharti" should be taken back to Hindustan (India). People were shook, no cap. Indo-Canadian groups are big mad at the threat and the Canadian Hindu Chamber of Commerce and Canadian Hindu Volunteers are denouncing the rhetoric, citing historical concerns.

Of course, India wasn't gonna let that slide. They hit up the Canadian government with a major protest, like, "Yo, this ain't it. You gotta get your act together and deal with these extremist peeps." Apparently, this ain't even the first time this kinda thing's happened either, with the India Day parade in Toronto straight up wildin'. Ever since the former Canadian PM made allegations, things have been sus. And a Legal counsel from the Sikh for Justice has the audacity to say Indo-Hindus should leave.

And let's not forget the Hardeep Singh Nijjar sitch, still a sore spot between the two countries. With the discussions about appointing new high commissioners they're trying to work things out.
