Babies are ‘stealing the spotlight’ at the Calgary Zoo this summer. The Calgary Zoo is bussin' with baby animals! We talking Ibis, Lapwings, Otters, Bison, Lemurs, Penguins... the whole squad! Plus, they got a Tapir on the way, and maybe some Hyraxes and Markhors too. It's all for the animals, fam!

The Deets
Okay, so the Calgary Zoo is straight-up POPPIN' this summer! They got more babies than a daycare center, and it's all kinda iconic. Like, we're talking:
- Two Southern Bald Ibis chicks (low-key boujee birds)
- Three Spur-Winged Lapwing chicks (never heard of 'em, but they cute)
- Two North American River Otter pups (the real stars of the show, let's be real)
- Two Wood Bison calves (chonky and adorable)
- Three Black-and-White Ruffed Lemur pups (look like they're ready for a rave)
- One Humboldt Penguin chick (waddling into our hearts)
But wait, there's more! Sempurna, the Malayan Tapir, is preggo and due this summer. Plus, the Rock Hyraxes might be next up, and there's hope for some baby Turkmenian Markhors. This zoo is on a whole other level, fr fr.
