Okay, so the Calgary Stampede was kinda poppin' this year, ngl. Like, 1,470,288 people rolled through, which is a W, but not as much of a W as last year. Still, mad respect.
But fr, there were some sus vibes. The Coca-Cola Stage was hella packed, like sardines in a can. And, word is, some teens got shanked on the Midway. The concert ended right before, but they're still figuring out if it was related or just random yikes.
And then, the feels hit different. During the Rangeland Derby, Chad Fike’s horse, Rider, took a big L and had to be put down. It was the only animal death this year, but still a major sadge moment.
