The Situation
Alright, listen up. Calgary PD started looking into this situation back in November '24 'cause of a sus relationship between this 48-year-old dude, Bradley Scott Carrier, and a 14-year-old. Apparently, they met 'cause the girl was visiting Carrier's house to see a friend, and things escalated. Like, allegedly sexually assaulted the girl. Nah, this ain't it.
Fast forward to May '25, the cops raided his crib and snagged a bunch of electronic devices. At first, he got hit with sexual assault and sexual interference charges. But, the investigation ain't stop there.
The police dug deeper and found some major red flags. Like, child p*rn red flags. So, they piled on the charges. Now this man's facing eight charges, including the original SA and child exploitation bs.
Both victims are getting support from the Luna Child and Youth Advocacy Centre, which is good, but doesn't make this any less of a yikes moment. Carrier got released with conditions and has a court date set for September 19th.
