The Deets
Alright, so listen up. This is straight outta GTA. The police were patrolling on Highway 401 near Jane Street when they spotted a car driving like they stole it. They tried to pull 'em over, but these guys decided to ghost and lead the cops on a baby chase.
Eventually, the cops boxed them in and cuffed everyone inside – a 17-year-old dude, two 18-year-old dudes, and an 18-year-old shawty. And here's where it gets spicy: after searching the whip, the officers found a fully loaded Glock and some drugs. Like, bruh... seriously?
But wait, there's more! Turns out two of the dudes were already out on bail for previous gun charges! Talk about a violation. Now all three are facing a whole mess of weapons charges and are chilling in jail until their bail hearing. Their names are being kept on the DL cuz one of 'em is still a minor.
In a separate sitch, Peel police also did two traffic stops which ended with 2 guns seized, and multiple arrests.
On August 23, 2024, cops pulled over a vehicle near Matheson Boulevard and Sismet Road. They found a Glock 17 with an extended magazine and drugs. Luqman Khandid, 22, got arrested and is facing a lot of charges relating to guns, driving offences and possession.
The second traffic stop was at Matheson Boulevard East and Satellite Drive. They found a Glock 27 on one of the passengers. Liban Abdillahi, 20, and Abdullahi Ali, 20, were arrested. Both are facing gun charges and Ali also got charged for having cannabis in the car.
The police are asking people to contact the Specialized Enforcement Bureau or Peel Crime Stoppers if they have any more info.
