Alright, listen up, fam. This dude Alexandre Romero-Arata? Yeah, he's been serving time for a hit-and-run that took a life. Total L situation. But wait, there's more. Turns out, he also caught a case for sexually assaulting a 16-year-old girl back in 2021. Vancouver hotel room was the scene. He allegedly gave her booze (even knowing her past), slapped her, and then had sex without a condom. Judge said it was all sus and without consent.

Now, the court gave him an extra three years on top of the five he already had. His lawyers are saying he's remorseful and accepts the L handed to him by the jury. But like, is it enough? The victim's mom said that Romero-Arata "dismantled her sense of self," which is some heavy stuff, no cap.

Flashback to the hit-and-run: This fool was speeding and under the influence when he hit and killed Eoghan Byrne. Then, he dipped, leaving Byrne to die. In December 2024, he got five years for that. Justice was served (sort of).
