Aight, so boom. Bradford police straight up raided a house on Carter Street after getting a tip about two youths totin' what looked like a heater. Turns out, it was just a super realistic replica. 🤦
The cops confiscated the fake Glock and are now giving the family and the kids involved a whole lecture on why playing with fake guns is not the vibe. They're saying these things can cause major panic and a serious police response, 'cause ain't nobody gonna know it's fake in the heat of the moment.
The Bradford PD is also telling all the parents out there to chat with their kids about the dangers of these replicas. Like, it's all fun and games until someone calls the cops, ya feel?
York Region: Real Deal Shady Business
But hold up, there's more. Over in York Region, things are way more sus. Two teens got nicked after a long investigation (Project Gamer, no less!) into some armed home invasions and carjackings across York Region, Peel Region, and Toronto.
Apparently, these dudes tried to swipe a Ferrari back in April but failed. Fast forward to June 12, the cops executed some search warrants and found a loaded 9mm, ammo, a replica firearm, and the keys to a stolen Land Rover. 🔑
Anthony Low, 19, is facing a bunch of charges for firearm shenanigans and stolen goods. Myles Tessier, 18, got hit with charges for having a prohibited device (the ammo) and more stolen property.
