The dude, Austin Ojakovo, was accused of sexual assault, but the judge was like, "Nah, can't prove it beyond a doubt." Apparently, it went down after a party at the Ignite nightclub. Word is, there was some wrestling involved, and then things got icky, according to the complainant, who said it was rape.

But here's the tea: the judge said there were too many holes in the story, so Ojakovo is free to go. The complainant admitted she was hella drunk, which didn't help with the memory thing. Ojakovo straight-up denied anything sus happened. The judge was careful not to judge her for asking for a ride home with him after, cause like, people deal with stuff differently.

In other news, this family, the Verweys, are out here making waves with their story about bail reform. Their daughter, Kellie, was taken way too soon in a car accident by someone who was out on bail when they shouldn't have been. Her parents, Michelle and Ron Best, went straight to Parliament and spilled all the tea.

Apparently, it was so impactful that this MP, Branden Leslie, said it might actually change how federal lawmakers are thinking about bail. Kellie was only 28, living her best life, when some dude yeeted her existence. Straight up tragic.
