Yo, what's poppin'? So, the tea is that BC's wildfire season is officially a PROBLEM. Like, multiple fires are burning, and things are getting kinda spicy near the B.C.-Alberta border. The Kiskatinaw River wildfire is straight-up out of control, covering over 11,000 hectares. It’s so close to Kelly Lake that they had to tell about 100 residents to dip.

And it ain't just that fire. The Summit Lake fire, west of Fort Nelson, is also wildin' out, covering almost 30 square kilometers. People living nearby are on evacuation alert, so they gotta be ready to leave at a moment's notice. The BC Wildfire Service is stressing that everyone needs to stay plugged in and not wait until they see smoke to yeet outta there.

Highway 43 is still open, but like, keep an eye on it cause things could change any second. Alberta Wildfire and BC Wildfire Service are teaming up, and they've got structural protection set up for places that are at risk.
