Alright, so boom. The Canadian Automobile Association (CAA) did their annual "Worst Roads" campaign, and the results are in. Drum roll, please... Aberdeen Avenue in Hamilton takes the crown for the most busted road in Ontario. Like, it's so bad, it's actually iconic. Yikes!

But wait, there's more! Barton Street East, also in Hamilton (Hamilton stans stay losing), and County Road 49 in Prince Edward County, are also giving major L energy. And Toronto's not safe either, with the Gardiner, Eglinton Avenue West, and Sheppard Avenue West making the list. Big yikes all around, tbh.

Apparently, this whole thing is based on what the people are saying. Like, they nominate roads and vote for the ones that are total nightmares. And get this, almost 2,500 roads from over 200 cities were nominated this year! That’s a lotta bad roads, fam.

But here's the tea: this campaign actually does something. CAA says at least 10 roads have been fixed in the past four years because of this. So maybe, just maybe, Aberdeen Ave will finally get the glow-up it deserves. We can only hope, right?

And, get this: 85% of Ontarians are pressed about the road conditions. Almost half of Ontario drivers had vehicle damage from these garbage roads, costing around $933 to repair. The top complaints? Cracked pavement, potholes, and traffic, duh! A whopping 60% think no one's doing enough to maintain these roads, so the roads are about to be cooked, fr fr.
