Okay, so here's the sitch: The BC SPCA just raided a property in Vernon and rescued 34 Bengal cats. Why? 'Cause the whole place was sus af. We're talking a next-level ammonia stink, cages that were straight-up nasty, and way too many cats crammed into tiny spaces. Like, hello, personal space?!
Turns out, this breeder was allegedly not giving these boujee cats the TLC they needed. According to the SPCA, someone snitched after visiting the property and seeing the living conditions. Good looks to them, fr! A vet checked out the cats and was like, "Yep, these felines are def in distress." No cap.
The cats were also dealing with a bunch of health issues. Most of them were underweight, some had the runs (yikes!), and others had skin problems and were losing fur. They're getting tested for ringworm, which is, like, the cherry on top of this mess. 😭
Now, Bengal cats are a whole different breed (literally). They're part wild Asian leopard cat, part domestic, which means they're high-key energetic and need a lot of stimulation. Sticking them in dirty cages? Total L move.
